Let’s face it: Ibiza is an expensive destination. If you want to enjoy the food, shopping, and nightlife fully, you should bring a thick wallet. In the club, you easily pay € 13 for a beer. Ouch! Yet there are also plenty of ways to be cheap on Ibiza. Low-budget Ibiza is possible!
On Ibiza, you can kiss an alpaca. Well, share an apple. Luckily, no tongue is involved. And you can even join a yoga class with alpacas! The Belgian couple San and Bart opened the first alpaca farm on the island in 2019: Es Currals.
WHAT?!?! Rain on Ibiza? Unfortunately, it does happen. Exploring beautiful bays, visiting beach clubs, and sunbathing are a lot less fun when it rains. So what are you supposed to do then?
The famous Mirador de Es Vedra lookout point on Ibiza has permanently closed. It has fallen victim to the hordes of tourists who caused disturbances there. This means you can no longer access Atlantis either (though that was already difficult to reach).
Of course, you come to Ibiza for the beach and restaurants, maybe for the clubs or just nature. But you can also get creative on the island. How about a workshop weaving, ceramics, or natural incense?
Drum roll, please…. I hereby declare Santa Gertrudis to be the loveliest village in Ibiza. Santa Gertrudis is in the geographical heart of Ibiza, and I am sure: the town will also find a place in your heart.
What could be better than going on a holiday during a holiday? That is exactly why I like to add a day trip to Formentera to my holiday on Ibiza. Rent a scooter and visit the beaches, love it!
