Yoga weekends in the Netherlands

A yoga retreat is a beautiful gift for yourself. And you don’t have to travel far at all; more than enough yoga retreats in the Netherlands are available. Most yoga retreats are actually a yoga weekend: two nights and three days. But there are certainly more extended options as well.

In addition to the number of days, it is also important to take a good look at the yoga retreat program. Often there are all kinds of nice combinations on the schedule. For example, sometimes there are cooking workshops, others offer SUP yoga, and you also have retreats that focus on a specific theme. Also, pay close attention to the yoga style. Maybe you like to try different types of yoga during your retreat?

For almost all yoga retreats, the organization provides yoga mats, bolsters, blocks, etc. But if you prefer to bring your own mat, see if you can find a nice, light travel yoga mat.

And, if your Dutch could be better, please check with the organizer if you can join or if English is an option.

This yoga and meditation retreat in Netherlands is designed to help you achieve balance between mind, body and soul. This yoga retreat pays a lot of attention to food! Not only do you get good food, you also learn all about it. The focus is on plant-based eating. If you don’t know how to start with that, this is a perfect yoga retreat for you. There is a workshop called ‘making Burgundian Burgers’ and a workshop called ‘the secret of having little time and still eating delicious food’. And, of course, there is are excellent yoga sessions on the program!

Yoga and walking retreat on Terschelling (3 days)

Travel to Terschelling for a beautiful yoga weekend. You start the mornings with a lovely yoga class and then go into nature. Sometimes to the woods, sometimes to the beach. In the afternoon, there is room for a wonderful relaxing yoga session. And in the evening you can do whatever you like. Have a chat with your fellow yogis, read a book, or go to bed nice and early. Feelgood yoga retreat in the Brabantse Kempen (3 days)

During Franka’s yoga retreat, you will fully relax. Surrounded by the forest and as few external stimuli as possible. So no TV, and maybe also a good excuse to go offline for a weekend? There is a lot of yoga on the program, and the nice thing is that every class is different: yin, nidra, vinyasa… The surroundings are beautiful, so take the time to find lovely spots in nature to do some journaling.

Ayurveda and yoga retreat in Zandvoort (3 days)

Curious about Ayurveda? Then this is a perfect yoga retreat for you. The guides will introduce you to the basic principles of Ayurveda. You learn what you can do with it yourself to achieve better balance. Of course, there are also Ayurvedic cooking and a few excellent yoga classes on the program. And in between, there is plenty of time for a long walk on the beach.

Tangerine retreat in Friesland (3 days)

You will stay with your fellow yogis in a beautiful place with a living room where you can have a friendly chat, or you can retreat to your own room, or dive into the pool or sauna!

Iyengar yoga retreat in Oostraven (3 days)

This 3-day Iyengar yoga retreat in Veluwe, Netherlands, offers daily yoga classes, meditation, pranayama sessions, and delicious organic meals. Led by instructors Daniela and Sarah-Jane, the retreat is designed for all levels and includes accommodation in a charming venue with a beautiful garden. Energizing yoga weekend in Cadzand (3 days)
