The houses of Santanyí have a golden-white glow thanks to the sandstone. When the sun hits, the town sparkles. Some palm trees are spread over the town, to get you into the Mediterranean vibe. Santantyí definitely deserves a visit during your stay in Mallorca. Take half a day and don’t forget the Mondragó National Park!
Mallorca has more than 70 (!!) wineries. According to some, there are even close to a hundred. Bizarre, isn’t it, for such a small island? Bizarre, but very welcome. Because an afternoon of wine tasting is always a good idea. I’ve tested five wine tastings for you to help you choose the perfect one for you.
Sóller and Port de Sóller are in the northwest of Mallorca, in the Tramuntana Mountains. You can easily combine the two in a day trip. Sóller is the town, Port de Sóller is the seaside resort. My advice: start in Sóller and then relax and enjoy some food in Port de Sóller.
San Cristóbal de las Casas (San Cris for friends) is a favorite city among travelers. I attribute that to the pleasant mix of modern facilities, traditional customs, and friendly prices. Add a lot of activities, and before you know it, a few days have passed, and you extend your stay.
One of the main reasons why I am such a fan of the Mexican town of Bacalar is the range of nice cafes and restaurants. There is so much choice here. My stomach and taste buds are having a blast! So let me share my restaurant tips with you.
