If you go to the Algarve, you will probably fly to Faro. Most people travel straight to their next destination, but spending a day in Faro is really not a bad idea. I want to share my tips for fun things to do and the best sights to see in Faro with you.
When I think of the Algarve, I think of the beaches with the cliffs that change from yellow to gold with the sun’s position. But a little behind those beautiful beaches are many lovely villages and towns. Loulé, for example. Best known for the Saturday market, but there is more to do in Loulé!
I never go to a restaurant alone at home. When traveling, I sometimes don’t have a choice and have to eat by myself. It feels a bit uncomfortable dining alone. I’m not looking forward to it, but eating out in Lisbon (Portugal) alone is pretty ok. In fact, I enjoy eating out alone!
Between the raindrops, it is easy to see that Briançon, France, is a lovely city. The colored facades, the views of the Serre Chevalier valley, and the impressive fortifications do not lose their appeal in any weather condition. But hopefully, you will get a bit of sun during your visit to the highest city in France!
