The narrow streets with tall buildings retain the smell of food and clean laundry. The paving stones are almost spotless. Every day, the local residents faithfully clean the street in front of their houses in Bari Vecchia, the old town of the Italian port city of Bari. Alcúdia is a favorite holiday destination for sun-sea-beach lovers. No wonder: there are no less than 10 kilometers of sandy beach. A day trip is a good idea if you stay at a different island place. Combine the beach with visiting the old town and the colorful sculpture garden.
The Formentor peninsula on Mallorca guarantees an outing full of ohs and ahs because it is beautiful. The raging sea of waves hits the enormous cliffs, and the sharp turns challenge drivers and cyclists. You’ll be amazed by the spectacle, so definitely put Formentor on your Mallorca bucket list!
What could be better than going on a holiday during a holiday? That is exactly why I like to add a day trip to Formentera to my holiday on Ibiza. Rent a scooter and visit the beaches, love it!
I maneuver my quad through the back roads of Ibiza in search of the best lookout points. I would have preferred to write ‘I skillfully maneuver my quad,’ but it takes some practice to control an ATV on bumpy roads.
Atlantis, the route is not on Google Maps; there is no signpost… Does it even exist? Absolutely! It is quite an undertaking to find Atlantis on Ibiza, but the reward of fabulous natural swimming pools and the tranquility is more than worth it.
It is possible! Undiscovered Ibiza exists. There are spots where you feel (almost) alone in the world, or at least you get to withdraw from the known options for a bit.
